St. Joseph Cathedral, 401 Main St., will host a Solemnity of St. Joseph Feast Day on Tuesday in the cathedral.
Visitors and parishioners may view the altar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and participate in a noon Mass. Bishop Michael G. Duca of Baton Rouge, with Cathedral Rector the Rev. J. Cary Bani concelebrating, will bless the altar during the liturgy.
Following Mass, all are invited to the Parish Hall for a traditional St. Joseph’s Day meal prepared by volunteers. The “meatless” lunch is free and open to the public.
An organ recital will begin at 7 p.m., featuring Thibault Fajoles.
Young People's Union Night
Cathedral of Faith, 3053 Oswego St., is calling all youth ages 0-30 to attend Young People's Union Night at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday.
