Election 2020 Voting Worries

Letter carriers load mail trucks for deliveries at a U.S. Postal Service facility in McLean, Va., Friday, July 31, 2020. Delays caused by an increase in voting by mail may contribute to public doubts about the results. The public might not know the winner of the presidential race on Election Day because of a massive shift to voting by mail during the coronavirus pandemic. That’s because mail ballots take longer to count because of security procedures and laws in some states that limit when they can be processed. (AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite) ORG XMIT: VASA111

Thank you, Matt Bruce, for enlightening Advocate readers on the new crime that seems to have gone around Houston and Baton Rouge and may still be happening.

In a long but very informative article, he detailed how criminals were caught bullying mail carriers and stealing the keys to their mail truck as well as “arrow keys” that open blue mailboxes. Another crime known as bank jugging was found to be prevalent in the Houston area. I only wish these wise criminals would use their wisdom in a productive way. Hopefully after serving time in prison they will learn. Please continue informing the public of these types of crimes.
