Matt Klotz is becoming part of the "Big Brother" — "The Bold and the Beautiful" tradition, PR firm Smithhouse Strategy confirmed Thursday.
The former LSU swim team star and Baton Rouge resident, who was runner-up on the CBS "Big Brother" reality competition series which wrapped up in November, will guest-star on the CBS daytime drama "The Bold and the Beautiful" on Wednesday. The show airs at 12:30 p.m. in Baton Rouge on WAFB, Channel 9, in New Orleans on WWL-TV, Channel 4 and KLFY, Channel 10 in Lafayette.

Lisa Yamada, from left, Matt Klotz and Delon De Metz run through a scene from Wednesday's 'Bold & Beautiful'-'Big Brother' crossover episode.
Klotz, 27, will play James, an employee of fashion house Forrester Creations who works with RJ (Joshua Hoffman), Luna (Lisa Yamada) and Zende (Delon de Metz).
On the same episode, fellow "BB" housemate Cirie Fields will portray Dr. Martin, a physician who provides consult to her colleagues Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Dr. Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) on a patient they are treating.
"I could not be more excited and proud for this opportunity for Matthew to be on 'The Bold and Beautiful' this week," Klotz's mother Linda Klotz said from Cameron Park, California, where the younger Klotz grew up. "Each year the 'Big Brother' production team invites somebody (or a couple of people) from the 'BB' cast to play a role on the well-known soap opera. It is such an honor for Matthew that he was selected along with Cirie for this opportunity. I know his fans are just excited as I am to watch."
Klotz and Fields join a long line of past "Big Brother" competitors who have guest-starred on "Bold," dating back to 2004.
Klotz made "BB" history as the series' first deaf contestant.
