The lineup is out for the first three-day Memorial Day Festival at North Park in Denham Springs.
The Teal Roofing and Cajun Country Jam-presented event will take place Friday-Sunday, May 24-26. Last year's two-day festival attracted around 20,000 people.
"We're just glad to be back," event producer Scott Innes said last week. "We had an amazing festival last year, bigger than we thought we would've. We wanted to up the ante and so we decided to go for three days."
Innes termed the performers scheduled for this year as "top shelf."

Chase Matthew
Among the country artists scheduled (with comments from Innes) are:
- Chase Matthew: "He's being hailed as the next big deal in Nashville. So, that's pretty cool to have Nashville come out and make this guy out to be the next big deal. And we've got him."
- Parish County Line: "They're a huge draw everywhere they play."
- Chase Tyler: "The cool thing about Chase is he is actually going to be our house emcee through the whole event, and also performing Saturday.
- Sawyer Brown: "Who hasn't been here in over 20 years. They have a new documentary that's out on TV right now, produced by Blake Shelton, and a new album coming out. They've had over 20 No. 1 records, and they still get up and gyrate like they're 16. It's amazing."
- Clay Walker: "That's just an iconic name. I mean, No. 1 there, right?"
- Ben Ragsdale: "A local guy who's selling out the Texas Club."
- Laine Hardy: "Laine really hasn't put on what I call a big, big, big show since we did his homecoming (August 2019), right? So he'll be performing with the full band. And that's gonna be big because we've already had people calling us asking if it's true he is going to perform. His fans come from all over."
- Joe Nichols: "'Tequila Makes Her Clothes Fall Off,' I mean, this is a party night. Joe Nichols has had huge No. 1 songs."
- Justin Moore: Probably one of the top three country artists in the country right now. Big hits like 'Small Town USA,' 'You Look Like I Need a Drink.' He'll close it down."

Joe Nichols
Also on the bill for the weekend are:
- Thomas Cain
- Lauren Lee Band
- Kendall Shaffer
- Honky Tonk Playboys
When each evening's performances are over, there will be a new, neat addition to festival, Innes also announced.
"We wanted something to continue after the party was over, because last year we would end each night on a high, and we needed a place for people to wind down a little bit, because you've got a lot of traffic.

Justin Moore
"So we created the Texas Club After-Party. So for an hour after the show's over, we will do huge line dances. Our DJ will play country songs, line dancing songs, and that's brought to them by The Texas Club. So we're adding a little extra fun there."
