It's cocktail time in Ascension Parish thanks to the the Ascension Parish Tourism Commission's Sweet Spot Cocktail Trail.

Fifteen establishments have created their own version of the "Sweet Spot Cocktail." All the participants and cocktails can be found on www.visitsweetspot.com.

"This trail will provide an exciting way to support Ascension Parish's local establishments and drive business through a typical slow time. we hope some of our neighboring parishes will come over to experience some our great restaurants, distillery and brewery," said Tracy Browning, executive director of the tourism commons.

For more information, email tracy@aptda.com.

To participate pick up a passport at trail businesses, the visitor center or on the website.

The passport will be stamped when a Sweet Spot Cocktail is purchased. After receiving 10 stamps, participants can receive a git at the visitor center and the passport will be entered for the grand prize giveaway, a $600 in gift cards and promotions.
