Faith Seventh-day Adventist Church, 7330 Mickens Road, is hosting a teen dating, violence awareness and prevention seminar at 5 p.m. Feb. 24. This discussion is for teens 13 and above, collegiates, parents of teenagers and church youth leaders.

St. Joseph Altar presentation slated at St. Charles Borromeo

St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, is inviting everyone to the St. Joseph's Altar presented by its St. Joseph Altar Society on March 17. The blessing of the altar is after 7:30 a.m. and Mass will follow.

The altar will reopen March 19 at 9 a.m. Cookies, candles and other blessed items will be available for a donation.

Grief Share scheduled at First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church, 529 Convention Street, Baton Rouge, is hosting a Grief Share on March 13 at 10 a.m. for 13 weeks.

Mike Vaughn Ministries hosts gospel concert

Join host Mike Vaughn on March 1 for a night of Southern gospel music at Good News Fellowship Church, 13101 La. 442 West in Tickfaw.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and singing will start at 6:30 p.m. Kicking off the program will be pastor Mike Vaughn and at 7:30 p.m. special guest, Danny Ray Bishop, of Calico Rock, Arkansas.
