It’s a Southeastern Conference triple crown for Ingrid Lindblad.

The LSU golfer, and world’s No. 1-ranked women’s amateur, was named SEC co-player of the year Tuesday along with SEC champion Julia Lopez Ramirez of Mississippi State.

A fifth-year senior, Lindblad also won the award in 2020 and 2022. According to LSU, no SEC men’s golfer since 1982 or women’s golfer since 1985 has been named SEC player of the year three times.

Lindblad has won 14 individual titles in her career, also a record for an SEC men’s or women’s player, including three this season. The native of Halmstad, Sweden, is on pace to shatter her own record for best scoring average, currently at 68.54 for 24 rounds played — all at par or better. Her LSU scoring record is 70.33 set in 2020.

Fellow fifth-year senior Latanna Stone was a second-team All-SEC selection, the fourth conference honor for the Riverview, Florida, native.

The LSU women’s team returns to action Monday in an NCAA regional in Bryan, Texas.
