Helena Bonham Carter, center, stars as Noele Gordon in 'Nolly.'

Whether in theaters or at home, you'll spot several Hollywood heavyweights in new films and miniseries this month — Al Pacino, Paul Rudd and Helena Bonham Carter among them.

Here are our four recommendations:

  • "KNOX GOES AWAY": Michael Keaton directs and also stars in this story of a contract killer facing a quickly progressing type of dementia. He's now on a mission to redeem himself by saving his estranged son's life. What stands in his way? The police on his tail and his declining mind. Also starring Al Pacino, Marcia Gay Harden and James Marsden. Rated R; opening in theaters Friday, March 15.
  • "NOLLY": The three-part miniseries, new from "Masterpiece," stars Helena Bonham Carter as the 1960s-'70s British soap star Noele Gordon. When Gordon refuses to play by the rules, she's fired from her hit show, making headlines. The ups and downs of Gordon's career yield moments of hilarity and heartbreak. Also starring Con O'Neill, Augustus Prew and Antonia Bernath. Premiering Sunday, March 17, on PBS and Max.
  • "GHOSTBUSTERS: FROZEN EMPIRE": One of the settings will look quite familiar — that New York firehouse where it all began with the original "Ghostbusters." Now, that team is running an ultra-secret research lab, upping the ghostbusting game. But when an ancient artifact lets loose a dark force, the OGs join with the younger ghostbusters (the Spenglers) to keep another Ice Age from happening. Starring McKenna Grace, Annie Potts, Carrie Coon, Paul Rudd, Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson. Rated PG-13; opening in theaters Friday, March 22.
  • "QUIET ON THE SET: THE DARK SIDE OF KIDS TV": The documentary, in four parts, focuses its lens on stories of a toxic and abusive environment on the sets of popular Teen Nick series in the 1990s, all created by and under the leadership of Dan Schneider. Some of the shows' former cast and crew members are interviewed. Featuring Alexa Nikolas, Marc Summers, Kyle Sullivan and Katrina Johnson. Debuting Sunday and Monday, March 17-18, on Investigation Discovery.
