West Feliciana Parish will be picking up vegetative storm debris starting Thursday, April 25.
Residents should have all vegetative storm debris placed at the road's edge or as close to the road's edge as possible by Wednesday, April 24.
Storm debris removal will start in the path of the storm on parish roads including the areas of Bains, Spillman, Solitude and Weyanoke. Once those areas have been addressed, storm debris removal will expand to other areas of the parish.
- Do not bag any vegetative debris. Vegetative Debris includes tree branches, logs, and plants.
- Normal household trash and bagged debris of any kind will not be collected with the storm debris.
- Nonhazardous waste or construction debris will be collected with the storm debris.
- Keep debris piles away from obstacles such as mailboxes, hydrants, and power poles. Do not block access with debris piles.
- Do not place debris piles on top of water meters, etc.
- Do not place debris piles in bags or in containers.
