Don't let the line winding out the door discourage you. The wait isn't as long as it could appear as the line moves faster than you would expect. Based on a single visit, the food and flavors are well worth the wait.
Okki Tokki, a Korean fast-casual, made-to-order restaurant — sort of like Subway or Chipotle, opened in early April. Its choices for the build-your-own bowls include a base of salad, noodles, jasmine or garlic fried rice. From there, you pick a protein — KFC (Korean fried chicken bites), Korean braised beef, marinated grilled chicken, stir-fried shrimp or fried tofu.
The next options include picking up to four veggies: cucumbers, pickled onions, pickled daikon, roasted corn, kimchi slaw, lettuce, carrots or cabbage.

Lastly, customers choose their toppings. The options include scallions, cilantro, crispy garlic, sesame seeds, toasted chili sesame oil, crispy shallots, avocation smash (+$2) or a marinated egg (also +$2).
