The Charity Ball Association of Baton Rouge will honor its 2024 debutantes at a French picnic at the Baton Rouge Country Club on May 16.

In addition, the 14 young women will be presented at the annual Le Bal de Noel on Dec. 28 at Crowne Plaza. 

The debutantes are:

  • Grace Catherine Alexander, daughter of Amye Dupont and Kevin Alexander. A graduate of Episcopal High School, she attends Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University in Baton Rouge. 
  • Mary Clare Beacham, daughter of Shannon and Harry Felder Beacham Jr. A graduate of University Laboratory School-Baton Rouge, she attends the University of Mississippi in Oxford. 
  • Alexandra Ryon Bennett, daughter of Stephanie and Bryon Bennett. A graduate of Episcopal High School, she attends Southern Methodist University in Dallas. 
  • Katherine Simone Boyce, daughter of Lori and Jerry Boyce. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends the University of Mississippi in Oxford.
  • Chloe’ Katherine Carmouche, daughter of Shannon and Brian Carmouche. A graduate of Episcopal High School, she attends The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
  • Anne Sconyers Guglielmo, daughter of Ashley and Carey Guglielmo Jr. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. 
  • Mary Virginia Greene, daughter of Leigh and Jason Greene. A graduate of University Laboratory School-Baton Rouge, she attends LSU. 
  • Alexis Aline Harvey, daughter of Joanne and Charles Harvey. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends LSU. 
  • Lucy Caroline Hodges, daughter of Danna and Kenneth Hodges. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
  • Mary Bennett Marchand, daughter of Gloria and Gerald Paul Marchand. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends LSU. 
  • Sara Louise Morgan, daughter of Suna and Todd Morgan. A graduate of Episcopal High School, she attends LSU.
  • Anna Elizabeth Plauche, daughter of Mimi and Jeffrey Plauche. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
  • Ansley Dobbins Upton, daughter of Mary and Brent Upton. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends LSU.
  • Millie Claire Weston, daughter of Lissa and Jeffrey Weston. A graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, she attends Auburn University.

The association’s officers are Lynell Ruckert, president; Shelton Jones, vice president; Ann Michael Lagarde, secretary; Rachel Saia, treasurer; Kim Gilly and Sarah Heroman, ball chairs, and Rachel Dansky, debutante liaison.

The Charity Ball Association of Baton Rouge is a nonprofit organization whose purpose is philanthropic. It was formed in 1956 by a group of civic-minded members who wanted to support the Baton Rouge community through charitable donations. Over the years, the association has contributed more than $500,000 to local charitable organizations. The recipient of the 2024 Charity Ball donation is Capital Area CASA Association.
