Singer-songwriter Lainey Wilson took home the CMT trophy for Female Video of the Year for "Watermelon Moonshine" on Sunday night during ceremonies at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
The song "Watermelon Moonshine" is from the Baskin native's "Bell Bottom Country" album released in October 2022. The accompanying video arrived in April 2023 and features the Baskin native, in a multi-colored flowy ensemble dancing in a field.
Wilson, 31, was also nominated in the Video of the Year and Collaborative Video of the Year categories.
Also during last night's live telecast, Wilson performed the title track from her latest album, "Country's Cool Again," and joined in a group musical tribute to late country star Toby Keith, who died in February.

Louisiana country singer Kylie Frey performs her original song, 'I Do Thing,' on 'America's Got Talent' in September 2023.
Meanwhile, another Louisiana product, country singer Kylie Frey of Opelousas, walked the CMT red carpet for the first time. Frey, who reached the top 10 on last summer's "America's Got Talent" on NBC, also is a member of the 2024 class of CMT's Next Women in Country.
"An amazing night at the CMT awards," Frey posted on Facebook after the show. "Loved getting to see all my #CMTNextWomen classmates and was the red carpet for the first time! #CMTAwards
