Two 16-year-old males were arrested Wednesday for a shooting that killed a man in Baton Rouge last weekend, police say.

The two teenagers were taken into custody by Baton Rouge Police with assistance from the city's constables office and booked into the East Baton Rouge Juvenile Detention Center.

Police responded to reports of a shooting around 3:15 a.m. Saturday near Longfellow Drive where they found 23-year-old Daon Scott dead at the scene.

The suspects were booked on one count each of second-degree murder for Scott's death and illegal use of a weapon.
