The Livonia Carnival Association's 2024 king and queen are Michael 'Todd' Blanchard and Ali Morgan Langlois.

“Celebrating 100 Years of Disney” was the theme as the Livonia Carnival Association’s 40th annual Mardi Gras parade rolled on Sunday.

Michael “Todd” Blanchard reigned as king. Blanchard and his late wife Trudy Canezaro Blanchard are the parents of Dustin and Kyle Blanchard.

The king has been employed by Big Cajun II for 20 years.

Ali Morgan Langlois, the 19-year-old daughter of Andy and Kristie Langlois, reigned as queen.

Langlois attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she studied early childhood education. She is the reigning Pointe Coupee Parish Sugar Queen. She currently works with pre-kindergarten prepatory students at Parkview Baptist Academy and continues pursuing her early childhood education degree.

Lorne “Man” Webre was parade grand marshal.

This year’s royal court included dukes Parker Gremillion, son of Duane and Courtney Gremillion; Cooper Laviolette, son of Derek and Cherie Laviolette and Sara Laviolette; and Carter Walker, son of Wyatt and Amy Walker; and duchesses Macy Kent, daughter of Stevie and Jana Kent; Adair Sadden, daughter of Jason and Alicia Sadden; and Analeise Webre, daughter of Ricky and Darla Webre.

Accompanying the court were pages Elise Blanchard, daughter of Dustin and Susan Blanchard; Nellie and Jaxson LaCombe, children of State Rep. Jeremy and Dr. Jessica LaCombe; and Judah Murphy, son of Jared and Tyler Murphy.
