Jeff Baudier has rejoined Bernhard Capital Partners as a senior managing director.

Baudier has spent the last three years as CEO of CORE Electric Cooperative, the largest electric distribution cooperative in Colorado. Before that, he was a managing director at Bernhard Capital for three years.

He earned a bachelor's in English from the University of New Orleans and a law degree from Loyola University New Orleans School of Law.

Tracy L. M. Norton has been appointed to the tenure track as an assistant professor of law at LSU Paul M. Hebert Law Center.

Norton joined the law school faculty in 2022 as an associate professor of professional practice. She is a national and international leader in legal writing and legal education.

Before joining LSU, she taught at the Touro Law Center in Long Island, New York, for 15 years. She also taught at Texas Tech University School of Law and South Texas College of Law.

She earned a law degree from Baylor University School of Law.

Aimee Cook has been promoted to chief risk officer for the Bank of St. Francisville.

Cook has been with the bank for 18 years, holding positions such as vice president of credit and internal audit, vice president of commercial and real estate lending and senior vice president of finance and risk.

Beard Construction Group, of Port Allen, has added two new vice presidents.

Dallas Weems has been appointed vice president of corporate risk. He will continue to serve as the company's corporate health and safety director.

Jason Landry has joined the company as vice president of business development and marketing. He has more than 27 years of experience in technical and field service business development across sectors such as oil and gas, chemicals, forest products and renewables.

New Orleans

Baker Donelson has added three associates in its New Orleans office.

Melissa Ramsey Carter, a member of the Advocacy Department, where she represents clients in state and federal courts in commercial and insurance defense litigation.

She earned a bachelor's, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi and a law degree from Tulane University Law School.

Peyton Lacoste is a member of the Tax Group, concentrating on estate, tax and business succession planning.

He earned a bachelor's from the University of Louisiana at Monroe, a law degree from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and a master of laws in taxation from Boston University School of Law. Lacoste played college baseball at the University of Washington, ULM and Loyola.

Francie Trimble is a member of the Labor & Employment Group, with a focus on education law.

She earned a bachelor's in political science from the University of Kansas and a law degree, magna cum laude, from Tulane University Law School. Trimble participated in Teach for America.

Amanda Coates has been named chief commercial officer for the Port of New Orleans.

Coates has been with Port NOLA since 2018, starting as commercial manager and moving up to head of business development last year. Before that, she spent 15 years with Mediterranean Shipping Co., the world's largest global ocean carrier.

Sally Perry, executive director of the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts Foundation, has announced her retirement, effective July 1.

She has led the foundation for more than 25 years. During her tenure, the foundation has raised more than $30 million through capital campaigns, collaborated with the Emeril Lagasse Foundation to generate funds for a summer culinary arts program for high school students and helped develop a history and biology curriculum at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts.

The organization has launched a nationwide search to find Perry's successor.
