A 46-year-old man who was fatally shot by a 14-year-old boy Monday during an argument on Clayton Street has been identified as Sherderick Jones, Baton Rouge police said.
The shooting happened at about 5:30 p.m.
During the argument, the juvenile got a gun and shot Jones, 46. The victim was transported to a hospital but died of his injuries.
The juvenile was taken into custody when officers arrived at the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
