Not only does the third hour of "Antiques Roadshow" filmed at the LSU Rural Life Museum air on WLPB Monday, but also the premiere of "Priced Out! Inside Louisiana's Insurance Crisis."
At 7 p.m., it's time to see still more of the treasures that piqued "Roadshow" pickers' interest when the series visited Baton Rouge in May 2023.
"Antiques Roadshow" is PBS’ most-watched ongoing series, and is produced by member station GBH in Boston for PBS under license from the BBC. The series, described as "part adventure, part history lesson, part treasure hunt," is in its 28th season.

"A pair of 1997 Michael Jordan-signed Air Jordan XII shoes; a Patek Philippe gold wristwatch, ca. 1915; and a diamond and platinum ring, ca. 2000. Can you guess the $138,000 item?" an episode description states.
For fans who had their treasures appraised and filmed at Rural Life but haven't appeared so far, there are still more chances after Monday night.
Louisiana Public Broadcasting says still to come are episodes called “Junk in the Trunk” that will feature never-before-seen excerpts from Baton Rouge.
"As soon as we know when these episodes will air, we will share the info," the network says.
Following "Roadshow" at 8 p.m. Monday is the debut of "Priced Out," a segment of LPB's "Louisiana Spotlight" series. The 60-minute show delves into Louisiana’s insurance crisis and explores solutions.

"Insurance reform is a hot topic during this current session of the Louisiana Legislature with lawmakers looking for ways to attract more insurance companies to the state," a news release states. "Louisiana Public Broadcasting look at how we got here and what can be done about it."
In the midst of the escalating insurance crisis in the state, premiums have soared, coverage gaps have widened, and the financial strain leaving residents feeling “priced out,” the release also states.
The show will include "first-hand stories from affected individuals and insights from experts striving for solutions and a more equitable future," LPB says.
Providing insight on the issues will be:
- Benjamin Albright, president and CEO, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Louisiana
- Andreanecia Morris, executive director, HousingNOLA
- Ben Riggs, executive director, Real Reform Louisiana
- State Sen. Kirk Talbot (District 10), chairman of the Senate Insurance Committee
- Tim Temple, Louisiana Commissioner of Insurance
- State Rep. Matthew Willard (District 97), member of House Insurance Committee
Karen LeBlanc, co-anchor of LPB’s weekly news magazine "Louisiana: The State We’re In" will host.
In addition to the six LPB stations around the state, "Priced Out" also airs on WLAE in New Orleans. The program will also be available to stream online live and on demand at www.lpb.org. On demand streaming is also available on the LPB YouTube channel and with the LPB App.
