The couple owns shops in the downtown area, and visitors can actually watch Ben Napier film the show through a glass window separating his Scotsman General Store and Woodshop.
Meanwhile, Laurel's downtown has been revived with shops, galleries, antique malls and restaurants opening in its downtown area. Add to that the nearby Lauren Rogers Museum of Art with its vast collection of art by world-known artists and free admission, and there's a lot to do in this southeast Mississippi city.
Laurel also offers music and other events in its Trustmark Arts Park, and there is plenty to see and do in its surrounding area, including summer fun at nearby Paul B. Johnson State Park.
