It's been a huge month for "Bayou Barbie" Angel Reese after she was drafted by the Chicago Sky in April and made her first WNBA debut last week.

Now, the former LSU basketball star is celebrating her 22nd birthday by walking the red (or rather, green) carpet at the 2024 Met Gala in New York City

Reese appeared Monday night posing for camera at the star-studded fundraiser in a sequin-studded silver gown with a short, feather skirt and sheer, floor length underskirt.

The dress is a custom piece by by British designer 16Arlington, according to Women's Wear Daily, who interviewed Reese as she left The Mark Hotel and headed to the event.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported the rookie left practice early Monday for a "prior engagement," ultimately emerging a few hours later to join stars at the glitzy fashion event.

The now "Chi Barbie" is no stranger to iconic fashion looks. She showed off a hooded, metal gown during this year's WNBA draft, earning praise from fans.

Reese made her appearance with along big names like Bad Bunny, Kim Kardashian, Zendaya and even Louisiana native Jon Batiste

The gala's theme this year was "Garden of Time," celebrating the Costume Institute's 2024 spring exhibit "Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion."
